  • What is the daily order capacity for Day One?

    We average over 25,000 daily fulfilled orders, and currently have the capacity for 60,000 in peak seasons. (Figure as of August 2023)

  • Does Day One work with Dropshippers?

  • Where are you located?

    We are based in Ningbo, a port city in Eastern China with close proximity to Shanghai. Home to one of the world's busiest international ports. 

  • How big is the Day One team?

    We currently employ over 240 outstanding team members--and we’re still growing strong!

  • What are your best-selling items?

    In order to help protect the competitive advantage of Day One clients, we do not provide best-selling lists or product catalogs. Clients send us links or product photos for our team to source.

  • Which products do you have in stock?

    We do not release product stock catalogs. If a product you submit for quote happens to be in stock, you will benefit from faster, same-day pick & pack. 


  • How can I know you can fulfill my product?

    If you can find the product on AliExpress, there's a very high chance we can source a manufacturer. As long as the product is still being manufactured, and it's not under any exclusive production contracts or trademarks, our sourcing team can almost always find the product to fulfill. 

  • What are some benefits of working with Day One?

    • At Day One we care deeply about the client experience, which is why we onboard clients when we have sufficient fulfillment teams available. Responsive customer service is a valuable asset in this fast-moving business, and something we take seriously.     • Fast shipping is another major benefit of working with Day One. We also provide discreet tracking, so your parcels do not include any origin from China.

    • QC is often a pain point in ecommerce, that's why we only work with reputable manufacturers and will find new sourcing anytime a supplier fails to hold up to our standards. In addition to in-house QC, we are happy to arrange samples to be sent, or send videos/photos with product in hand to help insure our clients are selling the products they intend to sell.
  • Do you have an MOQ?

    Currently we have a fulfillment MOQ of 10 total daily orders. This means your store must already be open and fulfilling at least 10 daily orders across all products. If you are meeting the MOQ, we will assign a fulfillment team to your account. If not, we can suggest other companies with which to start your store.

  • Can Day One teach me about Dropshipping?

    Yes! If you are new to dropshipping, and would like to learn some tips, Day One University provides helpful supplementary information to begin your dropshipping journey. 

  • How does Day One deal with IOSS for Euro clients?

    No problem! Please check our VAT notice on the downloads page for a full explanation on our IOSS and VAT procedure.

  • How do we connect with the Day One team?

    Once you’re onboarded, agents on the fulfillment team will walk you though adding them to your store--it’s easy!

  • What communication platform does the Day One team use?

    Skype is our primary platform. WhatsApp and Slack are also popular with our clients. Prefer something else? Ask and we'll do our best to accommodate!  

  • How do we onboard with Day One?

  • How many clients does a fulfillment team manage?

    Fulfillment teams are carefully assigned with availability in mind. The number of clients managed by a fulfillment team often depends on the fulfillment volume and needs of their clients. Client experience and a healthy work environment are extremely important to us, so we do not spread our teams too thinly.

PROCESSING

  • How does Day One connect to my store?

    Once you're onboarded and assigned a fulfillment team, the team will walk you through the easy steps to connect them to your store. 

  • What’s the lead/processing time for fulfillment?

    Lead/processing time is typically 1-3 days depending on manufacturer’s responsiveness. Fulfillment teams will inform clients of any manufacturing delays before purchase. Once a hot-selling item has been established, free inventory will be made available--unlocking same day pick & pack.

  • How does Day One process quotations?

    Quotations are processed upon receipt of product information--typically in the form of AliExpress links, Shopify links or detailed photos. AliExpress links are preferred, as they contain detailed product information to help our agents locate a manufacturer. Once sourced, our agents will send a message to your fulfillment group via Skype, WhatsApp, or Slack and present to you an all-inclusive quote for packing and shipping the requested product to its destination country. You only pay the quoted price, nothing more.

  • Is there a Day One APP?

    Our official dashboard has just been released! app.dayonefulfillment.com is where our clients can follow the entire fulfillment process from anywhere! Check COGs, quotes, best-selling products, alerts, and more!

  • Which APP do you use to fulfill orders?

    MaBang ERP 3 is the software of choice for our fulfillment teams--the most robust ERP on the market. Clients may choose to send .CSV files as well. 

  • Do I need to remind you about new orders?

    If our agents are connected to your store, fulfillment will be handled automatically. You will be notified immediately of any alerts which need your attention.

  • What is included in the quotation price?

    Everything! Cost of goods, shipping, and fees are all included in the quote you receive from Day One. The quote you see is all you are expected to pay.

  • Is there a discount for bundle orders to the same address?

    Yes. Discounts are applied to bundle orders due to no additional barcode fee of an additional parcel. Charges on weight still apply. 

  • Do you provide size charts if I sell clothing?

    Yes. We provide size charts and adjusted charts for target market sizes. Clothing tags can also be adjusted accordingly. 

  • Do you have any requirements for filling in the SKU field in my store?

    DayOne team can help fill out SKU information. However, some Shopify stores have mandatory SKU fields and cannot be left blank. If it is mandatory, it is best for customers to fill in the SKU in advance according to the format of "Product Title+Color+Size".

  • If I want your team to help me buy goods in bulk and store them in your warehouse, do I have to pay all the fees in advance?

    Bulk purchases are arranged for clients who have sustained consistent orders. Bulk must be paid up front, and clients will receive updates on stock levels. New cooperation cannot purchase bulk until notified by the fulfillment team.

  • I have my own supplier. Will Day One work with them?

    Of course! We are happy to continue any supplier relationships you have made and plan on keeping.

PAYMENTS

  • Which payment methods are accepted?

    Payment can be made by PayPal,Payoneer,Wise, Currenxie, Bank transfer,etc. All currencies supported. We do not directly process credit cards at this time. Clients who would like to pay with credit card could be paid via Payoneer.

  • When are payments due?

    Payment confirmation is necessary for packages to be released for shipping.

  • Do you offer extended payment terms?

    Longer payment terms can be agreed upon on a case to case basis. Clients with consistent orders and longer term cooperation can benefit from increased cash flow with longer payment terms. 

PACKAGING

  • Do you offer custom packaging?

    Yes. We can source any packaging you would like. Logos, customized inserts and cards, etc. We'll help you create the bespoke unboxing experience to impress your customers. The fulfillment team will let you know what photos and files are needed for printing. There is a fulfillment MOQ of 100 daily orders for customized packaging. 

  • What kind of custom packaging do you have?

    Our download page contains a PDF with many packaging options. Clients are also welcome to submit their desired products for our team to source and implement. 

  • Do packages have Chinese lettering on them?

    No. Products are shipped in their OEM product package, while clothing is mailed in a blank mailer bag. Products are then packaged in either a blank cardboard box, or standard mailer bag. No chinese lettering is present.

SHIPPING

  • What is the shipping time?

    YunExpress is our primary courier and shipping times depend on country of destination. The global average as of August 2023 is 7 natural days.

  • What’s the difference in shipping time & price between premium & standard lines?

    Premium channel is available on select routes and is faster and more expensive than standard. Price depends on destination country and parcel size & weight. 

  • Does Day One provide tracking for all parcels?

    Not only is tracking provided via Day One Track, but discreet tracking is enabled for all of our packages. Parcels only show tracking in their destination country, and include no origins from China. Shipping times are unaffected by discreet tracking.

  • Do all parcels arrive within the given time frame?

    YunExpress routes maintain over 98% delivery success within the given time frames. Averages are updated monthly based on real global data.

  • Which products cannot be shipped?

    YunExpress will not ship liquids over 500ml, No infringing products, dangerous goods, and contrabands (such as pure battery, prohibited liquid, prohibited powder, gun and ammunition) are allowed for YunExpress Global Direct Snail Mail (Fast).

    Products with built-in batteries and supporting batteries are accepted.

  • What's the shipping cost to XYZ?

    Shipping cost is based on a per shipment basis. Parcel size, weight, and destination are taken into account. The all-inclusive product quote received from our sourcing agents includes all shipping and handling fees.
